@er1n Okay, so this is not the first time I've seen a "dat:" url, but ddg won't stop correcting it to 'data:', making it hard to research. Is this just to do with the Beaker browser or (as I would suspect) is there a wider network? Is there anywhere I can read up on this?

for what it's worth, i didn't put this up, and i don't _use_ dat; i was just tipped off as to its existence and wanted to signal-boost

@er1n is there a tool available for windows to get this? looks like the dat project desktop client is linux/OS X only
