im retracting this post bc a random person made a simple logic bug in a patch that made a subsystem slightly better in a nice way n i shouldnt go off like this without better justification

And one of the things I've been doing today has been handling the reversion of a qemu update that fixed a bug for arm64 but was discovered, a fortnight after releasing it to the general updates stream, after more than a week's testing in the proposed updates stream, after running the test suite and doing a bunch of manual testing, that it crashes (for everyone) when given a specific config option.

Sometimes software is just hard 🤷‍♀️
